About the event
From a young age, siblings Claire and Collin Holloway have integrated visual art and classical music into their daily lives. The individual pursuit of their art forms creates an experience they are able to share, which has created a unique bond between them. Bettering oneself at any art form is most often an individual and highly personal process, so it is a rare experience to be able to share the artistic process with someone who not only loves the beauty of art as much as you do, but who is as inherently close to you from the beginning of your life as any person can be.
"The goal of our idea is to unite our two art forms into a conglomerate, where the subject matter is the same in both the visual art and the music. Through the deliberate pairing of certain pieces of art with certain pieces of music, we hope to create an experience where each art form elevates the meaning and expression of the other. When executed correctly, we believe this can create a meaningful and profound experience; one which is not encountered often since these arts are usually self-contained. To a large degree this is an experiment to see what will happen when this rule is broken."
"We thank you for your interest in this event, as this is an incredibly meaningful experience for the two of us not only as brother an sister, but also as young artists."
