Although wildlife is my primary passion, I began my artistic career with pet portraits. Before my family adopted a retired therapy dog, I was terrified of anything on four legs. However, the dog I grew up with flipped this fear into love, and I`ve had an affinity for dogs ever since. Due to this appreciation, I want to share in the joy owners receive from their pets through creating portraits. With each drawing, my goal is to perfectly capture the essence of the animal that I portray.
